Cape Point: a beacon of Hope

The lighthouse at Cape Point has a somewhat dark history. While it was meant to help guide sailors around the treacherous Cape coast, for many years it was not visible in heavy fog. Hundreds of ships became victims of what was meant to be a beacon of Hope. Today the Cape Point Nature Reserve is one of the most bio-diverse areas to visit. It is as beautiful as it is interesting and you should not miss and opportunity to visit.
